Beyond mathematics, I find inspiration and balance through diverse pursuits that enrich my perspective and fuel my creativity.

Photography serves as my primary creative outlet and a way to connect with the natural world. My interest in photography began during the early days of my graduation. One of my close friends, an environmentalist and bird watcher, had a point-and-shoot camera. I borrowed it for a few days, and that's how it all started. We often went out together, exploring the campus and nearby areas to spot birds and capture moments from nature. That experience not only introduced me to photography but also deepened my appreciation for wildlife and natural spaces. As my interest grew, I started experimenting with different cameras by renting or borrowing them whenever possible. When I joined IIT Guwahati as a PhD student, I finally bought my first gear using my first scholarship, a Canon 90D with an 18–135mm lens. With that, I expanded beyond wildlife photography and started capturing landscapes, macros, streets and portraits. Over time, I've built a small but diverse portfolio that reflects the way I observe life — quietly, curiously, and with a bit of wonder.

I'm especially drawn to books, essays, and articles that explore the intersection of science, health, philosophy, sports, and human experience. Whether it's something about science, everyday life, or just an interesting idea explained in a simple way, I enjoy revisiting certain websites and writers because they always make me think and learn something new.
